This week a class of students in Year 11 were filmed delivering five-minute TED-style talks as part of a TED-Ed Student Talks competition.
The students started the process by identifying their passions and then built one of those into a working TED Talk title. Some of their talks focused on global issues like world hunger, access to education and gender inequality, and others included topics like ‘The impact of words’, ‘How to make your own luck’ and ‘Being defined by your qualities’.
The talks will be submitted to TED-Ed and any winning entries will be posted on the TED-Ed YouTube channel. Well done to these Year 11 students for delivering such engaging talks!
