And just like that, the International Award trips for 2025 have come to a close! This year’s adventurous students pushed their limits, explored breathtaking landscapes, and built lasting memories through their qualifying expeditions.

In November, the Year 10s embarked on their Bronze International Award qualifying journeys as part of trips week, with options that catered to different interests and challenge levels. Some chose to kayak through the waters of Krabi. Others took to the trails, hiking through the lush jungles of Chiang Mai or the coastal beauty of Koh Lanta, testing their endurance and teamwork every step of the way.

Meanwhile, the Silver International Award participants took their adventure to the sea, dinghy sailing around Koh Lon. They faced shifting winds, rolling waves, and the ever-present challenge of working together to keep their small boats on course—a true test of resilience and skill.

For the Gold International Award participants, the journey was nothing short of epic. Their combined sailing expedition took them from Phuket to Krabi and back through the stunning seascape of Phang Nga Bay. Along the way, they battled the elements, honed their navigation skills, and experienced the sheer thrill of open-water sailing. But the real highlight? An encounter with dolphins in the bay was a reward for their hard work and dedication.

From dense jungles to open seas, these International Award expeditions weren’t just about reaching the destination—they were about pushing beyond comfort zones, strengthening friendships, and creating stories that will be told for years to come.

As we close the chapter on this year’s International Award adventures, we look forward to seeing where next year’s journeys will take us!
