The 2024 BISP IGCSE Certificate Ceremony celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2024 in an event attended by students, parents, and staff. It marked the culmination of hard work and dedication throughout the IGCSE programme.
The event began with a piano duet by Emily and Carlotta, followed by a warm welcome from Mr. Terry and Mrs. Clark. Headmaster Mr. Meredith, along with members of the Secondary School leadership team, presented certificates and awards.
Mr. Terry reflected on the students’ IGCSE journey, highlighting their perseverance through challenges such as late nights and demanding exams. He encouraged them to embrace setbacks as learning opportunities, quoting figures like Michael Jordan to inspire resilience and success.
Mrs. Clark praised the year group for their talents in academics, sports, and the arts, as well as their teamwork and leadership. She recognised their contributions to the school community and their strong sense of unity.
The Class of 2024 achieved impressive results, with 92% of grades being A*–C. Individual achievements were also celebrated:
- Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for Ty, recognised as Top in Thailand for IGCSE World Literature.
- Blue Riband Awards for Ty, Napatsorn, and Celia, acknowledging their exceptional accomplishments.
Students were reminded that their certificates represent an important milestone in their academic journey. The event also included speeches from student representatives Zac and Napat, and a video capturing highlights from their IGCSE journey.
The ceremony concluded with a final musical performance and closing words from Mr. Pearson, encouraging students to look ahead with confidence as they embark on IB and BTEC programmes.
At BISP, we take immense pride in the accomplishments of our students, who consistently demonstrate excellence both in and out of the classroom. Their dedication, resilience, and growth reflect the values of our school community. We are honoured to support them as they continue to excel and represent the best of what BISP stands for.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024 for their achievements and best wishes for their future studies.
