January at the British International School, Phuket, was filled with excitement and memorable moments! Our youngest learners showcased their enthusiasm and teamwork during the Early Years Sports Day, while Year 5 students embarked on a residential trip that fostered resilience and camaraderie. Year 6 engaged in a thought-provoking earthquake simulation, enhancing their understanding of emergency preparedness. Creativity flourished as we welcomed ceramic artist Jirawong Wongantran as our Artist in Residence, inspiring students with his incredible expertise. The month concluded with our football players taking part in the Soccer 11’s tournament, demonstrating skill, determination, and teamwork on the pitch.
