Congratulations to International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate, Emma, who has received offers from the University of Leeds, University of Nottingham and the University of Bristol in England to study Liberal Arts. Due to its Study Abroad option, Emma has chosen to study at the University of Bristol.
Emma has been a wonderful asset to BISP’s music and performing arts programme. On stage, she is a natural performer and has assumed many lead roles in school productions over the years, most recently playing Mrs Hobbs in Elf the Musical. As an IB Music student and also as a member of the Concert Band and Secondary Choir, Emma has flourished as a soprano vocalist and has shown a keen interest in broadening her knowledge of all musical genres. Last year, she recorded a solo performance that was broadcast at the IB Virtual World Conference. As head of Relate in the Student Leadership team, Emma was involved with supporting new students to the school and organising celebration days like Mental Health Awareness Day and World Kindness Day, which saw students post messages of encouragement and kindness in the secondary foyer. Her excellent communication skills coupled with her natural diligence shone through when planning student workshops and celebration assemblies.
BISP would like to thank Emma for her contribution to our school and wish her all the best for every step of her journey.
