Congratulations to International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate and Class of 2021 Head Student, Polina, who will take her outstanding leadership and project management skills to Canada where she will pursue a double degree at the University of British Columbia. Polina will study towards a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Management.
Polina was offered places at four Canadian institutions: Sauder School of Commerce at the University of British Columbia; Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University in Montreal; Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto; and in the Honors Programs at Waterloo University in Ontario. Making a decision was challenging due to the numerous scholarship awards she received.
Polina credits BISP for giving her so many opportunities to pursue her goals. Enrolling in Year 6 with only a small amount of English, Polina’s determination was evident both in and outside the classroom. Her ability to apply knowledge to real-world problems makes her an ideal university applicant.
