On Friday 9 June, BISP Key Stage 2 students showcased their singing and dancing talents in “Selections from Oliver”. In this special BISP production, the audience joined young, orphaned Oliver Twist as he navigates London’s underworld of theft and violence, searching for a home, a family, and – most importantly – for love.
With spirited singing of “Consider Yourself” and “Food Glorious Food”, this short showcase gave students opportunities to develop their acting, dancing and singing skills and showcase these to their peers and an enthusiastic audience of parents and friends. As a group, the students involved worked together well to bring to life this timeless Charles Dickens classic, and we can’t wait to see them applying their new knowledge in our next production in the next academic year.
