Japanese artist Shizuka Yoshihara visited the BISP Art Department to demonstrate her work to our students. The artwork is inspired by her own life events, animals and nature – her intricate patterns take the form of mandalas, figures and elephants. Students were particularly interested in the concepts behind her artwork, how long it takes her to draw in this style, and enjoyed a question & answer session with her as well.
