One of BISP’s dedicated Sea Eagle Swimmers, Jaidee, recently shone at the Thai Short Course Age Group Swimming Championships in Bangkok, securing 1st place in the 100m breaststroke, 2nd in the 50m breaststroke, and 3rd in the 200m breaststroke. Competing as one of the younger swimmers in the 2009-2010 age group, he set new personal bests and earned the Outstanding Swimmer Award.
Jaidee and his brother, Chaychan, spent their summer holidays dedicated to intense training and competing at the Swiss Youth National Championships, where Jaidee achieved 3rd place in the 200m freestyle and 2nd in both the 200m IM and 200m breaststroke.
Get comfortable being uncomfortable – Coach Peter
When asked about what motivates him, Jaidee shared a simple yet impactful phrase that drives him forward: “Get comfortable being uncomfortable”, a motivating line from Peter Hos, the High-Performance Swimming Coach at BISP. This powerful concept has resonated with Jaidee, fueling his perseverance and dedication in the pool. It embodies the ethos of pushing beyond the limits, constantly challenging oneself to improve and adapt, even when it means stepping into less familiar or more demanding scenarios.
Their family’s commitment to swimming is truly inspiring, and we extend our congratulations to both Jaidee and Chaychan for their hard work and dedication. The entire BISP community is proud of their remarkable achievements and wishes them continued success in their swimming careers.
