The BISP student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes appointed to provide insight into the student-athlete experience. The purpose of the SAAC is twofold: Generate a student-athlete voice within the school and support the campus and school community through community outreach efforts.

The goal at BISP is to enhance the overall student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete experience. 

This year the appointed SAAC representative for the respective sporting academies are:

Football – Maria (Duda) and Daniel

Tennis – Zhanna and Thanwarat (Bebe)

Golf – Zi Xuan (Tania)

Swimming – Zheng

The role of a SAAC representative is to be an active participant at all SAAC meetings, to exemplify leadership, communication, and collaboration within the SAAC, and to serve as the voice from and liaison between the student-athletes from their respective sport and the campus SAAC. Their responsibilities will be to:

• Generate a student athlete voice within BISP.
• Ensure that engagement in our Academy Sports reflects the BISP values and mission.
• Organise opportunities for student athletes to give back to our community through outreach projects.
• Promote equal opportunity and student athlete welfare.

We are confident in our newly nominated SAAC representative and we wish them all the best as they take on this exciting leadership role.
