The 2024 Year 11 End-of-Year Dinner, held at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel Phuket Town on Saturday, June 8th, was a memorable night. It celebrated the culmination of the IGCSE journey for a remarkable and hardworking year group, with students and staff gathering for an unforgettable evening.
The night came alive with captivating student performances that showcased the diverse musical talents within the year group. The room erupted with pride and admiration as Vicky belted out a rendition of Skyfall, Kirill performed an impressive rap, and Harvey mesmerised everyone with a beautiful piano piece. We also enjoyed a double-act ‘old school’ performance by Zen and Georgii, as well as the collective talents of our very own home-grown rock band consisting of Chuan, Marius, Maverick and Riku.
Adding to the fun, the student representative team – Zen, Zac, and Napat – masterminded a hilarious game based on the popular TV show “Family Feud.” This got everyone involved, with students and teachers alike battling it out. A vibrant photo booth also provided the perfect backdrop for lasting memories. Dressed to impress and armed with props, students captured candid moments with friends, ensuring these memories would forever be cherished.
The meticulous planning and coordination of the Year 11 Student Representatives deserve immense credit for the event’s success. Their hard work, alongside support by Assistant Head of Upper School, Mrs. Gemma Clark, ensured a flawless execution of every detail. A big thank you also goes to the BDE and Marketing teams for managing the logistics and capturing these precious moments.
