Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The PE department at BISP is delighted to report that our Year 12 and Year 13 BTEC Sport students have had a great start to the new school year. Over the past two weeks, the students have quickly settled into their routines and are getting to grips with the course structure, while also familiarising themselves with their new units.

This year, as part of their curriculum, the students are studying an inclusive sports coaching unit. On Monday, 26th August, they had the privilege of welcoming Jason Robertson, the Event Manager for the FOBISIA Games, to provide an INSET session with our PE staff and BTEC students. Jason offered invaluable insights into the FOBISIA Games, particularly focusing on Tee-Ball. This was a tremendous opportunity for our students to deepen their understanding of the game, ensuring they are well-prepared to share their knowledge and experiences with our Year 5 and Year 6 students who will represent BISP at the 2024/2025 FOBISIA Games.

We extend our thanks to Jason Robertson and the FOBISIA team for their time and for delivering such an insightful INSET session for our staff and students.
