Before the break, the Primary Hall came alive with music, movement and proud smiles during a special mini dance show called “Lights, Camera, Dancing!” that celebrated the children’s hard work throughout Term 2 in the BISP Dance School.

From Nursery to Year 6, students who attend weekly classes in acro, cheer, ballet or jazz took to the stage to showcase their developing skills. While many only train once a week, the progress in their technique, confidence and joy was clear to see. The performance gave children a valuable opportunity to experience being on stage, build self-assurance, and feel proud of what they’ve achieved.

Adding a lovely community touch, Carlotta from Year 12, who has been helping with the classes twice a week as part of her CAS hours, also joined the children on stage for a performance. Her involvement has been a wonderful example of campus-wide collaboration and mentorship between our Primary and Secondary school students.

This BISP Dance School event was a heartwarming moment for families and staff alike, and a reminder of how the arts help our students grow – not just as dancers, but as confident and expressive individuals.
