The BISP Cruzeiro Football Academy U18 Girls Football Team recently took part in the Bangkok International Girls Football Festival 2024 (BIGFF 7’s). The tournament, which was held on 20 and 21 January 2024, brought together six teams for some fierce competition.

In spite of the age difference posing a challenge for our team, since most of our players were younger than the average of the tournament, our team gave it their all. In the group stage, the U18 Girls managed to secure two wins, one draw, and two defeats, earning a spot in the semi-finals.

The semi-final match ended in an exciting 3v3 game in extra time with a golden goal rule. Despite our best efforts, we narrowly missed the victory. The team’s positive spirit carried into the third-place play-off, where we held our ground for most of the game. Although we conceded a goal with just 1 minute remaining, the team’s resilience and sportsmanship shone through.

We would like to congratulate our BISP Cruzeiro Football Academy U18 Girls Football team for their dedication and sportsmanship. The BIGFF 7’s tournament was a fantastic experience for our U18 Girls team. It provided valuable lessons and will undoubtedly help the team prepare for future competitions.
