The Kids’ Lit Quiz is an annual literature quiz for students aged 10 – 13 years. Quizzes are held in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and the USA. This year, 12 BISP Year 6 & Year 8 students participated in the Thailand National Kids’ Lit Quiz event held on Wednesday, 11th May 2022. 23 teams of four students, from eight International schools, competed in the Thailand wide event, three of which were teams from BISP. 

To start the event the quizmaster reads ten rounds of ten questions on children’s literature, and the teams write down their answers, which are collected and marked. Each round is themed and this year’s ten themes were: Princes & Princesses, Bugs, France, Adventure, Queens, Beards, Animals, Rabbits, Mice and Aliases. 

This year, the competition was stiff and at the end of the day the three BISP teams took 5th Place, 18th Place and 20th. Congratulations to all the students who participated and we hope to see you all again next year. Until then, keep on reading!
