We are proud to share some remarkable achievements from one of our talented BISP students. Year 9 student Pine Pantaratorn, is a BISP Tennis Academy player who has been making waves on the international stage.
Pine has achieved the remarkable feat of attaining the 1st rank in Asia in the under-14 category as of January 1, 2024, with an impressive total of 5906.50 accumulated points. This achievement places him ahead of other talented players, such as India’s Vaish Pawar and South Korea’s Kim Dong Jae. Pine is considered the first Thai player under 14 to reach the 1st position in the Asia youth rankings. This accomplishment has also earned him a spot in the 2024 Australian Open Junior competition, to be held in Melbourne, Australia, later in January.
Despite being only 13 years old, Pine has achieved the 1211th ranking in the world junior ITF Junior rankings, among the group of players aged under 18 years old. However, within his age group of 13 years old, Pine holds the 3rd rank in the world ITF Junior rankings.
As we celebrate Pine’s outstanding accomplishments, we are proud to have such a dedicated and accomplished student at BISP and are thankful for the dedicated coaches who support him. We look forward to witnessing his continued success and wish him the best in all his future endeavours, both in academics and on the tennis court.
