BISP continues to make its mark in the basketball community, achieving remarkable success across multiple competitions. Our teams have demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork across various events, including the PISAC U15 3×3 Basketball Tournament at HeadStart International School, O15 PISAC O15 3×3 Tournament at KIS, and the U16 Phuket Elite Basketball League. With gold, silver, and bronze medals earned, along with a strong third-place finish in the league, our athletes have showcased their dedication and talent on the court.

I had a really fun time playing at the PISAC basketball tournament with my team. I learned a lot from watching other teams play and it was great to play other international schools. The overall experience was amazing and I am really proud of my team for doing their best and coming first place. At the PISAC U15 3×3 Basketball Tournament at HeadStart International School, BISP won a slew of medals dominating the competition. After a series of competitive matchups, Team C fought hard but finished in 5th place after falling in the playoffs to Team A. Meanwhile, Teams A and B remained undefeated throughout the tournament, ultimately facing each other in an all-BISP final. In a thrilling match, Team A—featuring Jean, Yousef, and Kasper—emerged victorious, claiming the gold medal for BISP.

Building on this success, BISP also took four teams to the PISAC O15 3×3 Basketball Tournament at KIS, where our athletes delivered outstanding performances. The highlight was the girls team —featuring Praemai, Kate, Pang and Bella—which triumphed, bringing home the gold medal in another undefeated run. The boys teams secured silver, bronze, and 8th place finishes, highlighting the depth of talent within our basketball program.

Beyond PISAC competitions, BISP also participated in the inaugural boys U16 Phuket Elite Basketball League held through January and February, facing tough competition from top academies in the region. Despite difficulties with injury and availability, the resilience, teamwork and overall improvement of our team secured a commendable 3rd place finish in the league, including a 100-60 win in the third place playoff, further cementing our reputation for excellence in youth basketball.

These achievements reflect the dedication and growth of our students, who continue to develop their skills through extracurricular opportunities and committed training.
