The BISP Sea Eagles have completed one of the most successful seasons to date. Our programme has grown by 25%, with the addition of several new swimming squads to better accommodate our diverse group of athletes.
The 2023/24 Season highlights include:
- Bangkok ACT Championships: Team runner-up.
- BISP Pentathlon: Team first place.
- Headstart Invite: Team first place.
- Patana Feeding Frenzy: Best team-high point average.
- Thailand Short Course Championships: 4 golds, 2 silvers.
- FOBISIA Swimming Invitational: Team first place.
- Sea Eagles Invitational: Team first place with 12 new meet records.
- Thailand Long Course Championships: 1 silver, 5 bronzes, 17 top 8 finishes.
- Malaysian Age Group Championships: 3 golds, 3 silvers, 1 bronze, 1 new meet record.
- PISAC Swimming Invitational: Team first place with 16 new meet records.
- Asian Age Group Championships: Bronze medal.
- Nepalese National Records: 3 new records set by Duana.
- Mongolian National Records: 2 new records set by Enkhmend.
- School Records: 20 new records set.
As we head into our summer holiday, we are very excited for the 2024/25 season. We are in a great position to build upon the success of this year and look forward to the upcoming challenges.
We would like to wish the following athletes the best of luck this summer as they head off to competitions representing their home countries:
- Duana Lama: Paris Olympics representing Nepal.
- Enkhmend Enkhmend: Philippines National Championships.
- Jaidee and Chaychan Baumann: Swiss National Championships.
- Soumaya Fulton: USA Swimming Southeast Sectional Championships.
