After weeks of preparation and anticipation, a group of thirteen BISP students took on the challenge of the prestigious Thai Model United Nations (ThaiMUN) conference—and their efforts paid off. From thought-provoking debates to policy writing under pressure, our students embraced every aspect of the experience and made a remarkable impression on the national stage.
ThaiMUN brings together bright young minds to explore complex political and historical scenarios. Our students embraced this challenge with enthusiasm—participating in collaborative problem-solving, structured debates, and policy writing. The conference is designed to develop critical academic and life skills, including public speaking, research, strategic thinking, and crisis management.
With over 700 participants from schools across Thailand, as well as delegates from South Korea, Nepal, Türkiye, and Japan, ThaiMUN is one of the region’s most competitive MUN events. What made our students’ performance particularly impressive was the mix of experienced MUN participants and newcomers—all of whom rose to the occasion and made a meaningful impact.
We are proud to announce that four of our students received individual honours for their exceptional contributions, a testament to their dedication, preparation, and leadership throughout the conference.
Beyond the awards, we witnessed significant personal and academic growth in all our students. They demonstrated teamwork, critical thinking, and a deep commitment to understanding and addressing global issues. Their thoughtful contributions and respectful collaboration with peers from other schools were truly inspiring.
We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented BISP. They have not only showcased their academic strengths but also exemplified the values of inquiry, collaboration, and leadership that we aim to foster across our school.
Please join us in congratulating them on their fantastic achievements and for representing the BISP community with such distinction.
