BISP’s Year 10 students led a Mental Wellbeing Fair as part of their last term Wellbeing Day, welcoming peers from Years 4, 5, 8, and 9. The Fair offered everyone a hands-on opportunity to explore the core elements of mental wellbeing in a positive, practical setting.
Working in teams, each group of Year 10 students created and ran a booth at the Fair, each centred on a particular aspect of mental wellbeing. They tackled a range of essential topics—from resilience and body positivity to supporting friends in crisis, developing a growth mindset, and challenging stigma—empowering their fellow students to prioritise mental health. Among the highlights were a series of interactive activities, including the self-esteem photo booth, the ‘About Me’ board, and the distribution of affirmation cards and pamphlets to support ongoing wellbeing.
Creative expression also took centre stage in the ‘Wellbeing through Art’ spaces, and the ‘Draw Your Emotions’ canvas proved a particular success, showing how everyday practices can encourage gratitude, self-reflection, and a positive mindset.
A huge congratulations to the Year 10 students for their enthusiasm, creativity, and collaboration. Their efforts demonstrated the impact of student-led initiatives in nurturing a supportive community at BISP.
