BISP BTEC Sport students recently visited Icellare Clinic in Phuket Town for an afternoon immersed in the latest advancements in sports medicine and genetics.

During the visit, students explored emerging developments in regenerative sports injury treatments, precision genetics, and sports-specific supplementation. They gained valuable insights into how athletes can overcome deficiencies, enhance longevity, and optimise performance.

The students engaged in thoughtful discussions and asked insightful questions, demonstrating a genuine interest in the field. They also enjoyed a guided tour of the award-winning Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM) Laboratory, where they witnessed cutting-edge research in action.

This visit provided a fantastic opportunity to connect theory with practice, particularly in support of their Sports Injuries Management unit. It deepened their understanding of current industry practices and highlighted the future of performance-focused care in sport.

A huge thank you to Callum and the team at Icellare Clinic for such an inspiring and educational experience.
