As part of the Arthit Ourairat Institution (AOI) network, BISP students were recently invited to participate in a group art competition titled ‘My Favourite Piece’. The competition welcomed entries from students across BISP, SBS Bangkok, SBS Chiang Mai, and SBS Rangsit, encouraging them to submit a personal piece that held special meaning to them.

The judging panel was thrilled by the diversity and creativity of the submissions. Each piece reflected outstanding talent and imagination, making the selection process both inspiring and challenging. A big thank you goes to all the students who took the time and effort to share their art in this year’s competition.

The winning entries were carefully selected by a panel of four art teachers from SBS Chiang Mai International School and BISP. Congratulations to the winners, and a heartfelt well done to everyone who took part.

Before the artwork is returned to students, the organising team plans to host a small exhibition to showcase all entries and celebrate the artistic efforts of the participants. Exhibition dates will be shared following the April holiday, with artwork returned after the display concludes.

Competitions like ‘My Favourite Piece’ offer students a valuable platform to express themselves, build confidence, and receive constructive feedback from peers and educators. They also help foster a strong sense of community across the AOI schools, encouraging collaboration and mutual inspiration.

We look forward to participating in this meaningful initiative again next year and encourage all students to continue exploring their creativity and passion for the arts.
