Spirit Week – a highlight of the school year – brought an exciting new energy to campus. With unique daily themes, from “Childhood Dream Job Day” to “Album Cover Day,” Secondary students had the opportunity to showcase their individuality and school spirit while supporting local charities. In addition to classrooms filled with cheerful students in creative outfits, activities on the fields brought students together. The PTA’s Halloween Scavenger Hunt and “Dunk the Teacher” offered fun moments, with students earning sweet prizes and giving refreshing splashes to Heads of Departments.

The week culminated in BISP’s annual Halloween Disco, hosted by the Events and Service Committee and the Student Leadership Team on November 1st, 2024. With over 200 Secondary students in attendance, the event truly captured the spirit of Halloween and was a resounding success. Eerie decorations, thrilling music, and a variety of creative costumes contributed to the spooky atmosphere, while funds raised supported the SOS Village and Phuket Sunshine Village.

Upon entering the auditorium, students were greeted by a mystical cauldron bubbling over jagged terrain. Those brave enough to walk through the Haunted Hallway enjoyed a range of activities. KS3 students took part in “Guess the Number of Candy” and face painting, while KS4/5 students captured memories at the photobooth. Halloween-themed snacks and drinks added a festive touch, giving students a taste of Halloween spirit.

The Halloween Disco provided the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable week, as students danced the night away and celebrated the unity built up during Spirit Week.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made Spirit Week and the Halloween Disco possible. From the Events and Service Committee and the PTA to the teachers and students who supported the events, thank you for helping to make these traditions memorable for everyone involved.
