The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards celebrate and recognise exceptional achievements by students in Cambridge IGCSE examinations worldwide. These prestigious awards highlight the dedication and commitment of students who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their exams.

At the British International School, Phuket, we are incredibly proud to announce that two of our students, Ty and Mirza, have received these highly esteemed awards. Their hard work and academic excellence have been recognised at a national level, marking an impressive milestone in their educational journeys.

I am very grateful for winning this award that I have spent a lot of my time working on.  I am also very thankful for being invited to this prestigious  ceremony  as it is a once in a lifetime experience meeting other top students in the country. – Mirza

The “Top in Country” award is granted to the learner who has achieved the highest standard mark in the country for a single subject, reflecting remarkable subject mastery and dedication. The “High Achievement” award recognises outstanding results in less widely taken subjects, given to the student who attains the highest standard mark in the country for that particular subject.

Through my hard work and determination I was rewarded with this prestigious award, and I’d like to thank my family, friends, and teachers, especially my World Literature teacher, Mr. Paice, for supporting me during the process. It was great to attend this ceremony and represent BISP proudly along with other high achieving students. – Ty
