Over the course of nine weeks, BISP BTEC students have explored a variety of fitness routines at Workout Club Koh Kaew. From yoga to strength training and Zumba, the students were introduced to different workout styles, each focusing on unique aspects of physical fitness and well-being.
This practical experience was enriched by learning from expert trainers. Among them was a former bodybuilding champion, now a gym owner and fitness influencer, who provided insights into strength training and the discipline required in the fitness industry. Additionally, the students trained under a full-time doctor who teaches Body Combat classes, blending medical expertise with fitness instruction to highlight injury prevention and the health benefits of regular exercise.
This diverse training programme has helped students build a well-rounded foundation in fitness while exposing them to various career opportunities in the industry. Whether developing mindfulness through yoga, building strength through bodybuilding, or experiencing the high-energy fun of Zumba, each session has offered valuable lessons in both physical fitness and professional pathways. By the end of the programme, students will not only gain a deeper understanding of how different workouts promote overall health but also explore potential careers within the fitness industry.
