It was a busy year for our Primary School students, and the FOBISIA Poetry Writing Competition in May 2024 proved to be a popular choice for over 20 students across KS2. All the BISP students who entered the competition should be delighted with their efforts, as they worked hard to create beautifully constructed poems on the theme of ‘World Oceans Day’.
Participation certificates were awarded to all entrants, and additional house points were given to the top entries in each category. The entries were judged by Mrs. Coleman (English Lead), who selected two poems to represent BISP in this year’s competition.
A huge ‘well done’ to all of the FOBISIA entrants, with a special mention to Taylor (Year 4) for ‘Ocean of Wonders’ and Elizaveta (Year 5) for ‘Whales,’ whose poems represented BISP in the 2024 FOBISIA Poetry Competition. Their poems were well-written and a joy to read, see below:
