Jennie has been a dedicated member of the BISP community since 2013 when she joined in Year 3. As she prepared to graduate from BISP, with acceptances from prestigious universities such as the University of Sussex for a Biology Major, St. George’s University for Medicine with a $90,000 (USD) Scholarship, University of Galway for Medicine, Prince of Songkla University for Medicine, and Srinakharinwirot University x The University Of Nottingham (SWUNOTT Joint Medical program), Jennie has chosen to pursue a career in Medicine and become a doctor. Her extensive involvement in CAS activities during her senior school IB experience at BISP has significantly impacted her future choices.
Jennie’s participation in tutoring, teaching English in Thai schools, volunteering at hospitals like Bangkok Hospital Phuket and Rajavithi Hospital Bangkok, and leading projects such as the Thai Red Cross Blood Drive and the HER Period Dignity BISP group has showcased her commitment to making a positive impact on society. Her academic journey at BISP, including conducting research projects for her extended essay and internal assessments, participating in extracurricular activities like MUN and the Worlds Scholars Debating League, and achieving the Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold Award, has provided her with a well-rounded education and valuable skills.
As a leader at BISP, serving as the Year 11 Representative 2021-2022 and Head of Events 2022-2023, Jennie has demonstrated her ability to lead and inspire others. As an Academic Scholar, receiving the Blue Riband award, Jennie was recognized for her excellent IGCSE results. Her journey at BISP has undoubtedly prepared her to transform lives through her future endeavours in Medicine.
