On Friday 8th March, 10 students from BISP participated in the annual Kids Lit Quiz at Shrewsbury International School in Bangkok. This is an event for students aged 10 – 13 years and quizzes are held in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and the USA. The event’s main aim is to celebrate the pleasure of reading. 

BISP was represented by three teams involving students from Years 6, 7 and 8. The students tested their knowledge of favourite books in this friendly competition, enjoying answering questions based on categories such as Emotions, Magna and Baldness! The trip was facilitated by Primary Librarian and Technology Integrator Kate Tucker, and Secondary Librarian and Extended Essay Coordinator Brian Keenan, both of whom are committed to encouraging all BISP students to develop a love for reading for pleasure. 

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the event: Ysabel, AP, Mikey, and Miranda from Year 6; Julia and Valentina from Year 7; and Clayton, Dani, Morgan, and Lia from Year 8. Well done!
