British International School, Phuket is once again proud to host its annual University Fair, connecting students with representatives from 120 universities to explore their diverse offerings.

The University Fair will take place on September 25, 2023, in BISP’s Main Teaching Building (MTB) and the Auditorium. The fair will also be attended by students from schools across the island and organised by their respective University Advising Counsellors. The aim of the University Fair is to help students connect with Higher Education Institutions from across the globe and introduce them to local and regional university options they may not have considered before.

The event will welcome representatives from 120 universities in over 20 countries, including England, Japan, Hong Kong, Spain, Canada, Thailand, Australia, USA and several others. These representatives will be available to answer questions about university admissions, courses, fee structures and graduate careers.

The fair will also feature sessions for BISP parents, such as the ‘Blind Fair,’ an exercise designed to expand parents’ thinking about universities beyond well-known/highly ranked institutions. Students in Years 11, 12, and 13 will attend a series of workshops before the main fair to explore various aspects of higher education and university applications (e.g. Studying Medicine, UCAS essay writing, Canadian applications etc.)
