BISP’s Environmental Systems and Societies students embraced our beautiful island by venturing into the rainforest to gather some data for their topic on ecology studies. Students were able to apply key ecological skills such as using transects, quadrats and measuring abiotic factors.

The students put their knowledge to the test by comparing the biodiversity of  different regions along with observing indicator species as a means of measuring water pollution. After all the data collection students were able to sit down and discuss potential research questions that could be used for their IB coursework.
