286 BISP students joined over 200,000 students globally in the Education Perfect Languages Championships from 16-23 March.
After eight days of competing online, BISP students from Years 3 to 13 earned a total of 57 certificates (1 gold, 1 silver, 13 bronze and 42 credit).
BISP was awarded first place for Spanish and Indonesian in Thailand, third overall in Thailand out of 11 schools and 169th overall out of the 1,894 schools that entered world-wide.
Education Perfect online competitions are designed to help boost students’ personal learning journey and engage students with curriculum-aligned content.
BISP’s Head of Modern Languages, Mr Greene, said, “Our students performed exceptionally well this year, winning 24 more certificates than last year. They had fun learning new words and reinforcing their previous learning and we are already looking forward to the next competition.”
