Friday saw the hosting of BISP’s 3rd Annual IB CAS (Creativity, Action & Service) Fair. This provided an opportunity for the Year 13’s to display their projects to the community. A CAS project is a collaborative task that entails helping the community over the course of one month or more.
This cohort ran talent shows, bake offs, spelling bees and VR tournaments to raise money and awareness for various causes around the world. Additionally, local NGOs (Phuket Sunshine Village; Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation; Soi Dog Foundation, Good Shepherd; Shark Guardians; Phuket Hotels Association) also set up their tables to give our Year 12’s choices on the kind of organizations they can work with for their projects this year. BISP’s Cambodian trip organiser Paul Evans, who works with Pagna Cambodian Education Fund, also talked to the students about his activity.
