Former British International School, Phuket (BISP) and Cruzeiro Football Academy student-athlete Nicolai Skoglund reflects on his time in Phuket, Thailand.
His outstanding performance on the pitch from Phuket, to Saudi Arabia and in Norway have paid off as now Nicolai is playing for Sporting Clube de Portugal and has been fortunate to attain a successful start to his career due to his dedication, passion and hardwork.
Following his time at BISP, Nicolai played in an important tournament in Saudi Arabia where he was the top scorer in the competition, scoring a hat-trick of goals in one of the games and was recognised as one of the best players. His performance in this tournament brought him to the attention of many top clubs in Europe. While playing for the Norway National Team, Nicolai was recognized as part of a new generation of top players in Norway.
