Students in Year 5 recently investigated the topic of climate change through a cross-curricular unit of work.
In English, they wrote persuasive speeches that were inspired by Greta Thunberg’s Our House Is On Fire speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2019.
Their topic work involved an inquiry into the impact of climate change on the polar regions. The unit of work culminated in the children using their iMovie skills to create Public Service Announcements on the theme of climate change.
